It was weird. It was really weird. Although Queenie wasn't necessarily confused or oblivious, she was surprised; stuff like this didn't happen to girls like her. She was supposed to be immune, exempt from this trial (at least, that's what she'd told herself). But alas, Queenie's body had different plans in mind. 

For a little while, she sat outside the mouth of her den and thought about the past few weeks in an effort to recollect any signs that this might have been coming. In retrospect, a lot of her behavior had made sense, as had some of the more personal physical changes; Queenie silently scolded herself for not knowing better.

Nonetheless, she knew that she had to seek out @Delight, which she did with her tail tucked and teeth bared to any passing males.
