There wasn't much hope for escape, what with the two mighty arms on either side, trapping her. Bat squinted at each of them as if sizing them up, then began to wriggle up and over one. That's when her nomi's tongue returned. Almost immediately, Bat oozed back down to the ground, cooing happily.
"Arf..." she repeated in a soft murmur, allowing herself to be coaxed toward sleep again. She made it this time, soon no more than a drooling, happy, snoring lump in the arms of the Heda.
