The talk with Alarian had been productive. It hadn't really put her mind at ease--but it had answered some questions, and she would settle for that for now. It had, though, given her a newfound sense of restlessness, and it was with this feeling that she exited the territory in late afternoon, intending to hunt, explore--whatever. Just to get some time away.

A grayish form in the distance caught her attention, and she wandered toward it, not paying much mind to whether it was hostile or not. It was a wolf, and a brawny male, at that. His eyes drew her in like a tractor beam--a brighter blue than any sky she'd seen, standing out from even a distance. A little breathlessly, she approached, giving a gentle chuff so she didn't sneak up on him, she being a slim shadow of a girl.

"Not much to see out here," Lily remarked, grinning. Her gaze wandered over his body--my, what a form he had--before returning to his face. "Are you lost? Looking for somewhere, or someone?"
