It was easy to see he was closed off from the others. While he had once seemed to be making progress on becoming civilized and integrated into the wolf pack, it seemed he had backed up into a primal behavior. Surely one could have seen what triggered such behavior if they looked at timelines but Ulf never spoke of it. Instead he gave physical displays of his mood. Typically in the form of a pulled back lip or steely glare.

He skirted around the borders to distance himself from the others. Part of him considered slipping away from it all but heavens helped him if he missed something good happening here. The wolfdog would have cursed himself forever.
