Alpine Lake i'm just looking for something to soften the blow

Her brows raised as he revealed the location of his home.  It was an... interesting choice for sure, and it definitely wouldn't have been her first.  You lookin' to set up shop there?  That place is dangerous.  I saved the life of a girl there, not too long ago, who had fallen.  She sniffed, looked outside.  Maybe it wasn't best to pick on this guy's weird choice in abode.  The forest isn't too far from the Plateau, though.
