He was friendly, she could tell, and she lifted her tail in a generous wave as she quickened her lanky lope toward him. Some warning about stranger danger echoed in the distant recess of her brain, but she didn't really care to listen. Clary couldn't remember meeting a wolf who wasn't pleasant in some sort of way, and besides, every stranger was only a stranger until you at least tried to make them your friend.
"Hey!" she chirped and pulled up to his side, bright-eyed, cherry-faced, and as unconscientious to personal space as ever. Her tail swayed with the overflow of cheer. "Ya huntin'? Want help?"
