Thunder Dome Claim: Roar to the Heavens

It was time. All of the preparations had been complete and the borders reinforced with scents. Their territory had been marked off, their presence atop the mountain undeniable for anyone passing by. They were there, and there they would stay; such was something Asterr was positive of. The only thing that remained was to let all those for miles around hear of their being there, to be told of the new tribe to have settled in the wilds. Knowing what to do, she'd climbed to the highest peak possible without entering a danger zone, and then tilted her muzzle back towards the cloud-filled sky.

It was an invitation for her tribe mates to join her in song, to better solidify their hold on the mountain. What it also did was serve as a clear message to those miles away in every direction: the mountain was theirs!

After all the effort it was finally time to officially claim their land. Jolon had been waiting for this moment the entire time he had been here with his fellow tribe members, creating bonds that would never be broken. They had chased away danger, marked their borders and were now ready to let their voices be carried by the wind. No-one could stop them, this land was theirs!

He heard his alpha let out a song and he too lend his voice. He put his muzzle in the air and let out a proud song for the wind to carry. Everyone would know this was their safe haven, their sanctuary and most importantly their home.

Although he maintained a feeling of unease about his presence in the pack, ever convinced that his violent instinct would someday cause unnecessary harm, Noctura's heart gave a jolt when he heard Asterr's howl as the new Alpha.

So all thought vanished, and a new instinct arrived dominant and unwarranted — the instinct to stand high and join the call. Noctura's voice was as deep as the Thunder Dome's own caverns, and it joined the voices in the sky like a melodious thunder.

It was finally time. Everything had fallen perfectly into place. Their presence on the mountain was strong and it was about time to take it as their own.

Leo stood from his resting place as a chain of howls danced through the air. Instinct told him to drive his head back and add his voice into their song. This was home now and he would never leave it behind again.

Howls arose. The white she wolf stopped what she was doing to listen. After a second if listening, more howls arose. The she wolf lifted her muzzle to the sky and let her own voice ring out.
