@Hawkeye
Blue Willow sniffed around her, it had been a long time since she had smelled other wolves. Since she had left her parents actually, she had thought it was time to adventure on her own for a time. Though she found it hard to leave her parents, those who had been her sole friends in this world, but it had been something she wanted. She was tired of being a nomad.
Her paws were cracked and sore from walking all the time. She felt that it was high time that she settled down permanently, maybe find her own to love, or some new friends. She knew she had much to offer, she knew some herbs though many around here she did not recognize. She was well versed in lore, her parents having been story tellers her entire life. That was how they had lived trading storied for a night in a warm den and food in their belly. That life though was not for her.
She had traveled far and she was paw sore and weary but her eyes held a flare of light and green fire traveled from her iris's to those who looked in. If you looked close you could see the laugh lines and the wrinkles at the corners that harbored her mirth and humorous side. Her wisdom of the worlds ways winked out at you from their deep green hues as well.

Legs made of black walked the edges of the lands; the Alpha had been on a mission since hearing that Jinx had trespassed. Her eyes flicked to the left, and Hawkeye noticed the dark wolf, making a beeline towards her. Her patience was thin lately, and this wolf would see the brunt of it.
"What are you doing so close to my lands?" She eyed the female, noting that she was similar to herself, but in very different ways. The female's eyes were a brighter version of her pastel-colored ones; the black fur on the she-wolf grew into a blue-grey coloring toward the feet, whereas her own pelt stayed a blanket of night all the way through. While the female was thin and leggy, Hawkeye was a beast of her own.

Blue Willow heard the other wolf, but before she could assume the submission position the other's voice reached her ears. She had tried very hard to stay away from the border on the outside, she hoped she hadn't crossed it. Realizing the other was the leader and hearing the irritation in her voice she decided on a complete show of submission.
Blue Willow hit the dirt after a flick of her ear. She kept her eyes downwards and her tail tucked firmly between her legs, a position her parents and her had to assume the few times they came across some save packs. "I am Blue Willow and I am merely in search of a forever home mam."

Agitation knit into Hawkeye's brow. She sighed. She couldn't be so harsh to someone that looked so pathetic (as all wolves that submitted to her would).
Trying to keep her voice even, she said, "Well? What can you contribute to the pack? In order to have a 'forever home', once must have an ability of some sort that will benefit others." Hawkeye nearly gagged at the term "forever home".

Blue Willow was taken back at the irritation in the other's tone. Her parents had always taught her that one was to be kind to others, while still being wary. She did not condone the other it was just a surprise to the way she was raised, a bit of a shock really but one could not tell that she was surprised by it. She would have to deal with it, after all the other was an alpha so she had a certain right ot being and having a superiority air.
Blue Willow spoke quietly in respect, "I am familiar with many different plants, a healer if you will, I can hunt to the best of my abilities, I am agile and quick, I do not condone violence, but I can hold my own. I also know many stories and lore from other packs, tribes and lone wolves. I can also fish if the occasion calls for it." She nodded as she kept her eyes downcast and listed her abilities. Though her parents were not violent, her father had been once upon a time, they both had taught her how to take care of herself if the occasion ever called for it. She was also very confident in her abilities as a herbalist and healer, she would always have more to learn as anyone who would take on the mantel of a healer and herbalist.

Hawkeye contemplated for a moment, thought she knew not why. If the female's word was true, she was an adept healer and could tell stories to her future pups. The river nearby gave opportunity to fish, something she herself had never done.
A slow nod developed, an action that showed itself every time she accepted someone new into the pack. "You sound like you will be a valued member of the pack. But first, tell me of your home life and where you came from, Blue Willow." Never before had Hawkeye questioned where someone had grown or who their family was, but she figured it was good to implement more questions since she was always so willing to have new members of the pack with so little information.

Blue Willow was not worried that her skills would be questioned. She knew that if they were she would be more than able to prove herself. She kept herself low as the other female and alpha considered her words.
Blue Willow was not surprised at the question about her family or her home, though she did wince slightly at the thought of having to tell the other that she had been a nomad and never lived in a pack. She began her tale. "I was born to my parents Spring Flower and Sun Spark. They were story tellers and healers. We would travel from pack to pack trading our stories and our healing prowess for food and a warm place to sleep. My parents are very good at what they do. I have never had a permanent home, just dens in other places.

Very interesting, Hawkeye thought. "Do you believe you will be able to tolerate staying in just one place, Blue Willow? You speak of this 'forever home', but have really never had a home to begin with." Spoken with an incredulous tone, the black beast was not sure whether the wolf's past fleeting ways would be fit for Blacktail Deer Plateau.

Blue Willow wanted to growl in frustration, she had left her parents to find a home where she could stay because she could not stand constantly moving and begging for morsels from other packs in exchange. She had hated it, though she had loved her parents she had always longed for a home. So yes she knew she could stand to stay in one place, but she had no way of even starting to convince the other that she could.
She kept her eyes lowered and said quietly, "I will be fine staying in a pack mam. I have always longed for a home and quite honestly I did not like the constant moving, though i loved my parents i hated moving around every few days and I did not like begging for morsels of food in exchange for my parents stories or their healing talents if we didn't happen to hunt that day because they were sure there was a pack near and upon arriving found a different pack and empty bellys. So Yes I will be more than able to stay in one place I can assure you."

ooc: you can post one more and we'll finish there! :)
Whew, this chick talks a LOT, Hawkeye thought to herself, nearly laughing. But the wolf in front of her seemed sincere in the words she spoke, something that Hawkeye could find a little admiration in. Sincerity was needed to be in her pack, and lacking in that category was one of the reasons Reheerah had been turned away.
"Very well, Blue Willow, welcome to Blacktail Deer Plateau. Let me show you some of the caches; I am sure you are hungry from your travels. You can tell me one of your parents' stories on the way." Hawkeye wondered what it was like to travel from pack to pack, offering stories and healing in exchange for food and shelter for the night and then moving on once more in the morning. She could tell that Blue Willow was frustrated in this.

ooc: okays and yea she does talk a lot lol.
Blue Willow wanted to dance in happiness, but she realized of course that this would be very inappropriate so she wagged her tail once and twice instead to show her gratitude and excitement.
"Thank you very much and I would be glad too tell you a story. Blue Willow stood making sure to keep her body lower than her alphas and her eyes still away from and then she realized she did not know her alpha's name. "Beg your pardon mam but may I ask what it is you are called? Blue Willow stood waiting to be led into her new home angst and happiness fighting a war in her belly.

Hawkeye felt stupid. In confronting Blue Willow, she had forgotten to give her her name! "Pardon my stupidity, Blue Willow; I am Hawkeye, Alpha here, thought I am sure you figured that part out."
Looking around before they set out, Hawkeye took a deep breath in and then let it slowly out. "Okay, so caches. I will take you to the nearest one first. We can also head toward where the den in located, so you'll have lots of time to tell me stories." Hawkeye smiled. She was in a good mood now, and hoped that these family stories would make the journey through her lands more fun.
