Blackfeather Woods Death of a Bachelor(ette)

Nobody had approached Redgrove since the fall of the Queen. All she knew was it was Meldresi's wish to be taken by the ravens, back into the nature that gave them life. She herself hadn't dared to go near the grove, the resting place was to undisturbed by everyone, and her destructive path was not exception. As a call rang up near the grove, she was hesitant to follow, yet continued anyways. The call was urgent, one that she couldn't simply avoid. As far as she knew from her patrols, no loner had recently passed through.
Traveling faster to meet Burke, the scent of another caught her attention. Venus was there, to her approval. The girl had shown great promise when questioned and had the right spirit to learn the ways of Blackfeather. Others came and went but Venuses eagerness was something to notice for future reference. But, mixed in with the wolf scent was the scent of a fox. The word put a bad taste in her mouth as the entire species fell under her category of 'insufficient value' and 'to be killed on sight'.  

She wasted no time catching up to Burke as the tank of a male dragged the fox away from the grove. Lips curled back into a malevolent snarl, her ears flattened against her head as she waited for the fox to run, wanting the taste of it's blood on her teeth. This was their fight, and no fox could outrun her.
