Skellige's commands were law; she would listen and follow until her body could carry her no longer. But Szymon? Her Szymon? He did not have that power over her, and for a moment, she was about to shout the fact into his face. They were going to kill this worthless piece of jestam, and she'd like to see him even try to stop her!

Atoll could not rightly say what made her pause, the bristle of words on her tongue quickly subsiding as she caught sight of the strength in her lover's eyes. He would never reign supreme in these lands, but there was something there that could command her as easily as Skellige might. She'd chosen him, after all, and in doing so, had willingly submitted herself to him, as he had to her. They were a team, had a partnership, and right now, she trusted him to know what was best.

"No killing," she echoed, words bleak. For a moment, she floundered, unsure of herself. Then, remembering Skellige's words, she darted quickly away, and returned at once with a large, blunt-edged rock in her jaw. The weight of it made her neck ache and sent a terrible grating sound thrumming through her head and straight into her ears - but she held tight until she reached the stranger, and then dropped it uncerimoniously on his head. No killing, but we must do as our lord has said. He will not remember us.

She hoped that he wouldn't.

With that, his struggles ceased altogether, and Atoll helped her betrothed to drag the heavy body into the sea. There, she said a quick prayer for the life of the stranger, and then watched the battered body until it disappeared.

Let me know if I should change anything!
