He spotted a nice sized hole in a hill and approached, sniffing at it cautiously. It was an abandoned deer den, with a faint scent of wolf. He nodded silently deciding this was his spot to hide and cralwed in, far enough so that only his eyes could be seen. He closed his eyes so that it would look like an empty hole, and kept his ears alert for Olive's pawsteps in the snow.
