I'm so sorry for the wait! D:

Lyra was certain Amekaze had either interacted with Hydra the roughest, or her sister took more after their mother than Charon. Probably both. Their behaviours were so similar especially when greeting and playing and Lyra — as well as Alya, she was sure — was forever covered in tiny bites and scratches from her more rambunctious sister. Not that she minded; their play was just that and they never drew blood.

The girl withheld a playful pout as Amekaze drew herself up to her full height, though she genuinely admired the regal figure her mother cut. She was proud to have her blood running through her own veins and there was no denying the triplets were Amekaze's children.

Lyra smiled gleefully back as her mother's words, now more excited than ever for the summer. They had been born on the tail end of the warmer months and this would be their first full summer. Charon had told her it was when plants flourished after the rains and prey was bountiful. Not to mention it was when they would finally be considered real adults. She thought back to Korei, then, and asked with a curious quirk of her head, "why is Korei different?"
