Cassiopeia's View and the future seems so bleak

Vaati briefly acknowledges the presence of another traveller not far off in the distance, but does not move to confront him as a young version of himself would have. He has no business meddling in the lives of others, not anymore. Not when those very actions had caused a spiralling series of event that left his home on the brink of non-existence. And so he hangs back, even as the other moves towards him, calling out a rather odd declaration of Vaati's appearance. "You're white." He doesn't know what to say to that. Never before had someone remarked upon his colour, ever. Perhaps his unsightly scar or his rather abnormal size, but never that. It strikes him as curious... as if the comment, added with the extra amount of hesitance in the other's voice, meant more than he knew. Something about the sudden identification of his colour -- and perhaps who he was -- made him want to turn around and run the other way. Against his better judgement, he doesn't. The other seemed less likely to attack him given the already verbal confrontation, indicating he didn't necessarily want him dead, not in the same manner the Cerberus did. In any case, the teen is sure he could take him, if push came to shove. Then again, he had been sure about a lot of things that had proved to stand against his favour within the previous weeks. Remaining where he stood, the teen voices a slightly confused confirmation, "Um... yeah," Unsure of what to say next, or how to treat the other's sudden revelation, he goes no further.
