Furi didn't provide an answer to his unspoken question. There was something admittedly odd about her... More odd than usual, I mean. Finally, Artaax took a deep, slow breath, and decided to be the one to break the silence. "What happened, Furi," he said in that calm, quiet voice of his, blinking at her through mismatched eyes. The scent drifted into his nostrils again as a breeze came in from the ocean, and again it bothered him. But, again, he fell to frowning steadily at the girl, waiting for her answer.
