When the tongue bath abruptly stopped, the half-asleep Bat made a curious burbling noise. When her nomi's touch resumed a moment later, the sleepy cub squawked. The large, warm tongue had been replaced by something small and much colder. Now wide awake again, she attempted to squirm away from the unpleasant sensation.
