"i be erzulie," the chai-tea thing murmured in tones that softly inquired after his own name. 
pausing only a second to glance at the stone teeth that rose into the air, she gave a small arch of one brow. "an' what mountain is dat?" a teasing edge had added itself to the nature of her words; erzulie hoped the boy would not take offense, but suspected his continued intrigue.
