He watched as Niamh released one of the magpies to demonstrate her point. It made an attempt to escape, but she quickly stilled it with her paw once more. She continued to think through the idea aloud, and without any further input from Elwood, she came up with a solution that sounded like it could work. He smiled; sometimes, just talking a concept through with someone else was helpful.
