Kiwi had indeed jumped at the chance, as usual, to prove she was the best of them at pretty much anything.  Obviously way better than dumb Bat or Tux.  And Silkie was Silkie.

She said, her high young voice already displaying the tone of 'duh, didn't you know this' because of course her incorrect name was right.  I have no idea if she knows this name for sure, but she thinks she does, and that was usually enough for Kiwi.  She took another swing after the pause, and released a small playful growl to accompany.
