When he didn't immediately get a response, Colt's gaze narrowed, and his stomach dropped.  And when the silence continued, only replaced by a shrug and then Niamh looking away abruptly, a definite oh-shit moment landed.  Had she seriously been fuckin thinking of jumping?

Before Hawkin, Colt never would have known a wolf could even consider something like that.  But he'd lost his best friend to it, and this triggered serious bsns in the older male.
