Although Deshyr’s yelping was loud, even to Breccan’s small, folded ears, he ignored it. (Paying his sisters no mind was a skill he would continue to hone as he aged.) He glanced over at her for a few seconds, watching as she flailed on her back and then observing as Remi moved to comfort her, then he turned his blue eyes to Daddy, who was beckoning them toward him.
Breccan’s tail began to swing madly behind him as he trundled toward his parents. He imitated Rannoch’s boof sound with one of his own.
