Their father stirred – nuzzling his mate lovingly as they looked upon their brood. His voice rumbled soothingly, but it didn’t assist her current predicament, and her pale paws continued to sway in the air as she grunted, trying to right herself back to her side.
 
As she began to jostle from one pudgy side to the next, Deshyr might have been gaining some momentum when a gentle hushing enveloped her, and Remi splayed a limb upon her. It ceased her attempt – but that mattered little when the warmth of her sister pressed against her, and sighing softly. Her eyes blinking as she looked to Remi’s face studiously, Deshyr elicited a gentle croon: 'Mrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiip,' as if singing back to her milkmate.
