And he has to suppress the laugh that wants to naturally spill out when his cream-colored daughter startles herself and then Six in turn with her sneeze. Instead he lumbers to his feet and shakes his coat out before stepping over to Coelacanth to join her in reassuring Thresher that there is nothing to be afraid of. He dips his head down and touches his nose to his daughter’s haunch where she isn’t completely tucked into Seelie’s fur and rumbles softly, “It’s alright, little one.”
