edit: you get post 400!  so soon!

It is a small miracle that Raven is never difficult to find.  Either she is with the kids or she is at the lake, and it is another small miracle that her children don't have to be exposed to.. well, whatever this was going to be.

By now it should have reached Raven (because this time, at least he had told everyone he was leaving) that Tuathal was gone — her world was gone, as pitiful as that was.  If she could not have Raven at least she had him and oh god, she can't think about that right now otherwise she's going to cry and the last thing she needs to do right now is cry.

Because it seems like all she does is cry in front of Raven, and what is she, just fucking stupid anyway?  She should've learned how to be her own individual by now, but the codependency — or maybe just her codependency — had smacked her in the face the moment she realized that he wasn't here to bounce ideas off of anymore and he wasn't here to keep her company when she tends to the garden and he wasn't here anymore to hold her together

This breakdown had been coming for some time, hadn't it?  I'm — she blubbered, trying to force the words for how undeniably raw she felt.  he's gone?  Just like that?  He had grown up and he didn't need her anymore like she needed him?

ring the bells that still can ring
forget your perfect offering
there is a crack in everything
that's how the light gets in
