it was not in coelho's nature to travel directly into confrontation; as it was, she had been trying to be a better scout, and had been struggling to commit to memory the internal map of this place. if she could be a better scout, she could serve sunspire better -- and maybe, just maybe, could make rannoch happy.

the more coelho explored, the more confused she was; there were lots of scents, some bear, some not -- and more confusingly the scent of a fellow packmate. coelho sussed out her tracks in the underbrush and came across a sight more startling than the vision of a bear -- a small conglomerate of wolves, and a very huffy treason.

tentatively hanging back, coelho gave treason an unsure look before she squinted at the gathering, trying to decide if she should stay and help a sister out, or just run back to rannoch.
