New Snow still found something within her leg smarted. It had only been a day, so it was no wonder. Still, New Snow tested it and yelped when she put too much weight upon it too soon. With a huff, New Snow reclined on her haunches and began to lave her tongue over the spot that most throbbed afterward.
And then she limped toward a creek, thinking cool water might do it, and her, some good. Her eyes searched for her man, @Augur, idly while her nose sought the scents of any other Rise wolf that might be nearby.
