New Snow still found something within her leg smarted. It had only been a day, so it was no wonder. Still, New Snow tested it and yelped when she put too much weight upon it too soon. With a huff, New Snow reclined on her haunches and began to lave her tongue over the spot that most throbbed afterward. 

And then she limped toward a creek, thinking cool water might do it, and her, some good. Her eyes searched for her man, @Augur, idly while her nose sought the scents of any other Rise wolf that might be nearby.

new snow was injured.

her mate would find her with a concerned growl, a rumble as he touched her affected limb with his muzzle.

their eyes met. he licked her cheek and eartip, asking in their silent way if she hungered or if the pain was too great.

augur would tend her as he always had.
