It appeared his Dad quietly approved of his choice. With pride burgeoning in his chest at his first involvement in a pack activity as a Beta, Mason’s tail twitched in rhythm to his Dad’s explanation of the game. A meat feast sounded awesome! He was still a bit skinny thanks to his jaunt out into the wilds.
Mason turned to his team when his Dad had finished and shimmied them a bit further away from Steady so he couldn’t steal their ideas. “Okay guys, we need to make sure we stick in groups of two! That way no one can fall behind or get lost or confused. We need to do fast, quick dashes and use your nose well!” Mason looked around. “Anyone got any other ideas? Do you want to pair yourselves or shall I pair us?” Mason’s ears pricked forward assertively and he waited for a response before his Dad began the actual task.

Chaska listened in on what they were to do. A hunt of sorts, which excited him enough for his tail to wag slowly. He began stretching his leg muscles as he listened in on Mason's plan. It seemed that it would work well enough. When he mentioned pairing up, he looked to the others. He wasn't sure who to pair with, and remained silent.

The teams were decided and the games were set to begin. Walking over to Steady's team, he was ready to give them their first hint and let them set off on what would, hopefully, be a fun adventure to be had by all.
Keep an eye out for the team threads; they should be up the this weekend/the start of next week!
