Raven watched him go, hoping for success in his hunt so that he might have something positive to be happy about. She worried for him and resolved to check in on him soon if he didn’t come to her first. When he disappeared into the distance, she turned and headed out to do a quick patrol of the borders before the afternoon faded into dusk.
