Come kiss me further - Pandora - May 04, 2021 Setting: Night — 21:45
Weather: Light breeze, clear skies, misty/foggy Forward dated about 5 days Pandora moves further through these new lands. Her white coat glows beautifully in the moonlight and her full tail swishes behind her like a cats. She’s confident in her steps and carries onward as if she has not a worry or fear in the world. She looks like a ghost amongst the trees, like she’s hardly there beneath the moonlight — ethereal. Any who stumbled on her would swear she’s a ghost before being required to do a double take. Especially with how smooth she moves over miscellaneous plant roots, bushes, and other shrubbery. Until she stops before one particular push. A raspberry bush. She already knows what it is and she smiles softly even though her bright red eyes seem anything but innocent. Pandora plucks a few off and eats them, moving on. Then just a little ways ahead, something gleams off of the bark of a tree and it has her tilting her head like a fox listening beneath the snow for prey. She smiles once more and her glutinous self plants her front paws on the tree and stretches her small form to lick up the tasty sap that leaks from the tree. Smacking her small fox-like muzzle a few times to taste it further before her pink tongue lapping at her jaws enticingly. She rather enjoys the stuff and for the next few minutes she could be seen shamelessly licking the sap from trees. RE: Come kiss me further - Imaq - May 10, 2021 It was another sleepless night, the shifting scents and changes around the territory only serving to bring thoughts of her lost triplets to the shaman as motherhood claimed Tzila and Lane. Instead of wandering the Glacier, however, Imaq felt the desire to escape from Wintersbane's familiar lands -- if only for the night. She found her steps leading her away to the forest where the blue bunting had first hunted with her, as if the cur were an equal in his glacial gaze, where they had failed miserably and shared the sap of maples instead to cement her alliance to the Duskfire he-wolf.
A smile graced the woman's softened features to find another wandering in the moonlight, lapping at the sweet syrup bleeding from the trunks as Imaq had done before. She greeted the winterwhite with a soft noise, waiting with bated breath on raised tiptoes like a bird awaiting flight -- ready to run if the other proved to be unfriendly towards canids such as the she-dog. RE: Come kiss me further - Pandora - May 11, 2021 Pandora licks at her lips after she’s done indulging in another pearl of the dripping sap. She’s so invested in the sweet tasting stuff that she doesn’t even hear the approach of the other female only a little ways away. She smiles to herself, paws still perched up on the tree when a chuff makes its way to her ears. She startles, large eats swiveling backwards in a quick moment of panic. Her head snaps in the direction of the noise to see the most peculiar looking animal staring back at her. She drops from the tree and stares back. They look soft like cloud, distinctly feminine and cute. Pandora tilts her head and a smile comes to her face, the dim light of the moon gleaming off of her ruby irises. Her thick pelt is painted a sickly blue, splotchy where the moon beams light through the canopy of trees ahead. This canid looking creature doesn’t actually look like anything she’s ever seen before. She’s heard of those that go by the name of dog and not wolf; heard they looked like this. So this must be one. She’s horribly interested and she trots languidly over, that same smile still on her face. Though it’s not malicious, it is usually always sly. This time it’s more interested than sly though. She wants a closer look! “So pretty.” She hums as she looks to her new company. Using her nose to scent the air and releases that this wolf-dog thing is indeed a female. Her full tail swishes behind her. “I’m Pandora. What’s your name, girlie?” She introduces herself evenly, her voice soft and easy as she asks for the others own name. RE: Come kiss me further - Imaq - May 18, 2021 The shepherd tenses as the other whirls, coming down on all fours to peer through the darkness at Tupilak with eyes the color of winter berries. She looks something like Imaq, cast in broken shadow from the maple -- her coat painted in a piebald pattern of moonlight. For a moment, the shaman wonders if she is a spirit given flesh -- wandering from the nightlands amongst the heavens, bound in a pelt of white moon rock and harnessed in starshine. One of the creatures responsible for blizzards, capable of conjuring great storms with those hellish eyes.
But then she wanders closer, turned silver without the tree's shade to mar her pearlescent coat, speaking in the tongue of these southern lands and Imaq knows she is a woman. She could say the same for the other she-wolf, glancing down with a demure smile as her cheeks warmed, but she had only recently begun to awaken to the idea of women in that light and was too flustered to say much other than a wisped: "Nakummek." 'Pandora', she shapes the word on her lips, testing -- finding it as lovely as the pale wanderer's complexion. "Imaq...Qeya," the she-dog chooses her surname in a spur of the moment decision, a small thrill sparking through her, deciding on the name of the river that runs below the Glacier. "Of Duskfire Glacier." RE: Come kiss me further - Pandora - May 21, 2021 Pandora’s tail moves in a flurry behind her hocks. Not in a bad way, but one that shows her interest in her newly acquainted company. As the other female speaks, her large ears swivel on her crown. Her smile persists and she tilts her head with a soft questioning look at the word she does not understand. She assumes it’s a thanks, judging by the bashful look that overcomes her soft features. At that a soft laugh escapes Pandora’s lips and she plants her rump on the ground in a sitting position, curling her full tail around her ankles comfortably. Imaq Qeya. She says and Pandora assumes it’s her name. These words sound just as foreign to her ears as the last. Then she adds Of Duskfire Glacier on there and she tilts her head once more, but in the opposite direction. “Oh? And where is that? Is it here?” She questions softly. “I’m not from around here.” The fox lookalike clarifies with a laugh. “Is that where your pack lives? I smell others on you.” RE: Come kiss me further - Imaq - May 31, 2021 Imaq turned, sweeping her freckled muzzle north as she did so. "North," the word is fond on her tongue, mind flitting momentarily to the lands beyond these -- to the polar fields in the far northeast. "Aya, Imaq belong to the piKalujak," her lips quirked with the words, a sort of inside joke. "Ice."
"Pandora need home?" the she-dog asked then, figuring it couldn't hurt to ask. Their ranks already held many she-wolves but it could be beneficial to bolster their numbers, they were still a rather small pack -- with many little ones due soon. They would need all the help they could get. RE: Come kiss me further - Pandora - May 31, 2021 North. Says the woman with a soft sweep of her muzzle. Pandora tilts her head and instinctively looks in that direction. She shifts her ears even more when she says words she knows not the meaning of. This odd language she speaks has Pandora only mildly confused, but thankfully it seems the other translates well enough. Ice. She says next. That’s good enough of a hint, she could figure it out on her own from there. “North. Ice.” She hums absentmindedly. Then she’s asking her the most peculiar question. She chuckles softly, not trying to seem too eager. “No, but maybe.” She says indecisively. “What’s it like there? I was banished from my last home. You probably wouldn’t want me.” She says it as if she’s talking about the weather. As if it doesn’t bother her. Half the time it truly doesn’t, it’s just the way of things. She’s a bad omen after all. No one wants her. Where ever she goes she’s supposed to bring bad luck and misfortune. Why would they want her? RE: Come kiss me further - Imaq - June 16, 2021 Imaq's dog-like features softened with empathy as she gave the pale nymph a small, sad smile full of kinship. "Is good home. Small, wild. Good wolves, good chief -- Wintersbane, he is strong he-wolf." The merle did her best to sing the Glacier's praises but she lacked the words to express how the place echoed of her homeland upon Sedna's plains of ice. Or how @Wintersbane had readily taken her in when he found her wandering the Taiga, despite what she looked like. She could not tell Pandora of the affinity she was beginning to find in the other women nor how her heart had stuttered when @Rye promised that she wasn't worthless.
"Wintersbane and Iana might want Pandora. Imaq banished and they want Imaq," she added, hoping this might reassure any notions left embedded in the winterwhite's subconcious by her former tribe. |
