Moonspear everything the light touches

Alya thought that everything would just magically be better when Charon arrived, but it didn't. Not all the way, anyway. It certainly felt better when she stumbled into his embrace, but the sound of the fight did not let up. There was still that terrible screaming, and this time it was not her own.

She would never forget that sound; she would never stop fearing it.

"Daddy, Dashie daddy please, help please help," Alya said in one drawn-out yowl of fear. Her heart was racing as she begged her father to make it stop, his name mingling with that of her protector's as her words became less and less coherent.
