Liffey felt herself bristle at her mother's question. There was just something about the way Fin said things that caused the girl to feel like she was under attack. They had not really spoken about what had happened with the wolverine, but she'd known that her father had told Fin about it. She'd actually been pretty amazed that her mom hadn't said more. She figured she had her dad to thank for that, but it was hard to remember now that she was kicking herself for thinking that she was in the clear, as that was clearly not the case.
