But when she tilts her head up to kiss the underside of his jaw he inclines his gaze back down to her, something about the tone of her whisper feeling like she is wrapping her paws right around his heart.

He is silent a moment, golden gaze fixed on cerulean, and when he does speak his voice is low and thick with unabashed emotion, “My Aralez.” His hold on her tightens ever so slightly, the rise and fall of his chest against hers sending sparks that radiate through his body with the intensity of how much he feels suddenly. “You saved me that night, brought me back to life when everything had been taken from me. And I will always be yours.” He leans in, presses their foreheads together, breathes her in. “Always.”
