This was what she wanted - but when he suddenly left her sight, her head snapped toward him. She made no move to fend him off, only keeping him in sight as he nipped at her hip and then hovered there, tantalizingly close and yet, so very far away. She wanted to feel him against her, but he was playing coy. It figured that, as soon as she was done with that game, another would pick it up.

Silent, puzzled, and slightly frustrated, Alya gazed back at the deer-like male. Her tail wagged half-heartedly. She blinked slow, projecting fawn-like innocence. She was a lamb for the slaughter.

Was it something about her, she wondered? Was he afraid? (And, honestly, she did kind of want to bite him for being so close, for standing over her. But she rememebered that she'd put herself in this position and that she wanted this and kindly refrained.)
