Dread pooled in her stomach at the sound, and she knew then that, no matter how this ended, she would be rebuked when she returned. Her mistake would not be easily forgotten. This was clear in the glares she earned from Revui and Arcturus. She watched Revui take off, part of her wanting to go after him and explain why she had made the decision she made, but that would only make things worse. She looked after the two boys dejectedly before before Charon's own command pulled her attention once more.

So she had three different commands from all three Moonspear leaders, two of which demanded that she return to the mountain at once. But Charon outranked his daughter, and Amekaze was not here, so it was hard to ignore the wishes of the alpha who was standing there, radiating dominance.
