Shadewood Big Bad Wolf

Of course this hadn't gone unnoticed by the Phantom, and briefly his composure failed him. Despicable ivories were pulled free of the shelf and glinted a dangerous set within the helm of darkness the Keep provided. They were followed by brief inhale-
But the growl did not come. He was wise enough to not give away his position in the thicket of his domain, but goddamnit if he hadn't stopped himself, the rest would have unrolled in an avalanche upon this whelp. It would have left the growl unattended as he ominously searched for the scents of the parents.
From there, he would have gathered the boy by the neck, swiftly snapped it as high as he could to avoid signs of struggle, dragged it back to the woods to leave a scent trail before picking it back up and burying it somewhere out far from home. Well, either that, or breaking up the body and passively feeding pieces of it to @Kovertol. Either way, the visuals played just atop his mind, warping into how little work it would be to have this bastard simply gone. A passing tragedy of the Keep that none would ever discover.
He moved.

A slow stalk that ebbed into a short jog and stayed. 
It was not long before he arrived just behind the pup. 
Jaws opened-

and he spoke. 

"Well hello, you. Whatcha up to so far from your parents?" It reminded him of his less than perfect caretaker ability he had tried to figure out with @Xan so long ago. So very long ago...
but the retired Assassin never forgot a face.
