Mudminnow River Early Wolf Gets the Cat-fish

So she hadn't spoken to a weasel before. Her companion showed more asperation then experience on the matter, and determination too. When asked if she knew any other languages Pema had to reply, "Sadly no. Though I am always willing to learn what I can." she admitted. 

She had never had the chance to learn a new language, but like most things Pema was eager to learn what she could from anyone will to teach her it. But with her companions question came another silent one that Pema pondered in her mind. Why would Pema need to know another language? Was their a meaning behind the question or what it just random. Thinking to the topic at hand, the weasel, Pema thought about it in reference to that. "Is wolf it's own language?" she asked rather openly. Surely other animals would be able to speak to one another if they needed too. Right?
