The boy was in awe of the moon's color this night, and instantly his thoughts went to Korei. He knew she loved the night sky, and he wanted to share the magical night with her.
He wasn't disappointed to find there were others already there-- maybe a bit at first, but when he recognized them as his love and his sister he quickly relaxed. It would be a lovely night with all three of them.
Alarian had come only in time to hear Lanawyn's offer of a story, so he slipped in quietly to nestle himself against Korei, licking her ear affectionately and murmuring:
He fell silent, then, turning his gaze to Lana expectantly. The boy didn't doubt the others would agree to the story.
