As far as he could tell, the sisters were both ridiculous and couldn't seem to take someone pointing out their folly -- or at least not with the full audience here. How unfortunate. He was honestly curious if either of them would end up staying or if Cyclone was going to continue to lead Fern on a wild goose chase across the landscape.
In fact, he plopped himself off to the side and took a moment to give his ear a good scratch. He did try to give Colt and Finley a look that asked, 'Is this normal for them?'
