Well, so far nothing had eaten his sister. That was a good thing, right? It'd be her fault if he got devoured by a monster.
Mali bumbled up to her, into the sun. He could feel the difference in temperature through his pawpads. It was kind of nice. At least now they weren't quite so dependent on their mother's body heat to keep themselves nice and toasty. It'd take a few minutes for the sunlight itself to really permeate his fur since he was so much lighter than both of his sisters (mostly).
He paused a moment, then pounced forward an inch or two, yipping at her. Mali was still kind of worried they'd get in trouble for not being way back in the darkness, but then again, he was also a pup and was always up for games if she wasn't just gonna snooze away or something instead.
