Tormented Tarns days replace days

Ali was doing a lot better since their encounter with the healer-- his infection had yet to clear up entirely but it was clearly on its way out. It showed in the way his eyes were a little brighter, the way he spoke more cheerfully and moved more energetically. Often his new-found energy was put towards trying to cheer @Korei Julia and @Lennon up in the aftermath of the cougar attack and everything else that had come with it.
Now they were back to traveling towards the pack, but Alarian had the nagging feeling something was off. He didn't really know how right he was-- though the trio had intended to go East, they had somehow ended up going the opposite way, back where they came from. It hadn't fully dawned on him yet when he stopped suddenly at the sight of another wolf, the color of smoke and shadow. He chuffed, half to alert his companions and half to greet the new wolf.
