She grinned as he grimaced and endured the shower of her shaking-out, and giggled a little as he kissed her. She returned the gesture in kind, kissing his muzzle and chin affectionately as she joined him in the shelter of the trees. Rain still dripped down onto them, but in nowhere near the volume it had poured over her outside and she felt an enormous sense of relief at the break from being drenched. "Gladly!" she responded at his invitation to wait out the storm with him, and suddenly she was glad she'd been caught in it out here. They both stayed so busy that it wasn't always easy to find time to just relax and be with one another.
"So," she began as she sat down beside him and, shivering, inched closer to steal some of his body heat. "How's it going, Alpha Male Of The Redhawks™?"
