Broken Boulder come back as some bones and so cynical

Mali was totally ok if the world had just kept the same way it had been.  Minor changes were allowed, but he wasn't going to be the one pushing them forward into the unknown at this stage in life.  Familiar was nice, wasn't it?  Either way, the boy was back to being kind of obnoxious and noisy instead of snoozing.  There were quiet moments sometimes, but that usually meant that he found something to chew on or was taking a nap.

Right now, he was watching his sister wander close to the Portal of Unknown and stop there.  He inched a bit closer, but still hung back well within the den.  Arruu? he asked, probably some combination of "Whatcha doing?" "Is it safe?" "Are you gonna be yelled at in .002 seconds?" and maybe a few other things as well.  Good luck, take a guess.  It's not like he knew words.
