It was late. He knew. Later than he had been introduced to his parents pack, later than his sisters children had been introduced to his pack. But after the intruder, Siarut knew it was time. They were growing up, and he was only one set of eyes. He couldn't watch 4 independent bodies and keep them all safe on his own. No it was time they were introduced to the pack, and started to learn the way of the pack. It didn't mean he was overly pleased with this decision. He had spent a good portion of last night in the company of his wife's rock to try and settle his nerves. Alas the man had found no solace and returned to his den to wait out the rest of the night, unable to sleep.
Despite the unease that settled in his stomach, Siarut gentle nosed the youngsters along. "Come on slow pokes. We're going to meet the rest of our family." He had mentioned the concept of the rendezvous site to them before, and told them about the many members of their pack. The strength that surrounded them, and kept them safe. But they hadn't yet met many of them, at least to his knowledge. He hoped to change that today.
This was to keep them safe. This would keep them safe. Siarut reminded himself as they walked, his lips held an easy smile. It was fake of course. The northern man was panicking on the inside.
He wasn't sure if anyone would be there when they arrived or not, but regardless as they entered the small clearing, Siarut headed for a small collection of rocks which seemed like a natural meeting place. Sitting and letting his children explore the area, he raised his head and released a howl calling for the members of Easthollow to meet the youngest members of the pack.

After what had happened the last time he had ventured from the den, to say that Kallik was wary of this new adventure would be an understatement. The den was safe and he wasn't happy about being somewhere new. What if something bad happened there too? What if he disappointed dad there too? His chest tightened as dad urged them from the den, and even though he was reluctant to go, he did as his father asked, too afraid to let him down again.
He walked as close to dad as he could on the way there, probably almost being stepped on a few times and becoming somewhat of a tripping hazard if Siarut wasn't paying attention. He looked around warily as they moved, wondering how far they would be wandering from the only place he knew as safe. There was a time when this would have excited him— he would have been eager to explore some place new, but life had sufficiently squashed all of his curiosity.
When they reached the new place, Kallik waited for dad to take a seat and then promptly planted himself down beside him, sliding down into the grass and resting his head on his paws. Siarut called for the pack then and the little bear's green-blue eyes scanned the area around them for the arrival of any new faces.
