Ready or not

Her pale fur was attractive – the brightness in her eyes even more do. Constantine was an adolescent male, so of course he noticed these things. She spoke – a hint of baby-ish tone still in her voice, and the boy allowed his muzzle to give a light bob of acceptance to her reasoning.
 
He eyed her with hidden skepticism, his tail swinging freely behind him as he shifted his weight. “I’m Constantine – what’s your name?” He wasn’t sure entirely she came to say hello to a neighboring pack.. but given she seemed to offer no threat as of yet, he did not rush to shoo her away. That, and she seemed so innocent.
