It didn't take a genuis to see where this was heading - it didn't even take two eyes.
He would struggle at first. The constriction of his larynx was one painful thing, that pressure growing swiftly with the closing of her fangs around it. The taste of blood would come next but not because she had broken the skin — it would come from deeper, from his lungs as they filled with air that couldn't escape.
The pain signaled the nearness of his own expiration date. Each moment slowed.
He would writhe. Plead with his eyes as they bulged from his head.
It was like in his old dreams. A raven consuming a titmouse — and just beyond, Sorina getting just what she desired.
