since their falling out, delight has largely spent his time avoiding queenie -- and avoiding tindome as a whole, outside the borders. maybe it's a shitty leadership move but he can't bring himself to care. he's not upset with queenie anymore -- she'd been right from the start and he knew that -- but with himself, his general inability to lead, failures at being a wolf, etc, etc, etc. 

maybe he should just run away with alarian and call it a day.

it's in this moment, wavering with indecision, that queenie finds him. he's surprised -- she doesn't seem like the type to approach first after a fight, he'd been expecting to have to grovel -- but then she's close enough for him to smell and, ah. oh. "hi," delight manages weakly, maintaining enough distance to keep himself sane. "um, what's up? besides the.. obvious."
