All Welcome
@Tapat! A long awaited meeting and I'm super excited! Lagan is at the borders :D

Lagan and @Gannet had actually made it over the southern mountains, and what was on the other side? Just more land. Land not anymore exciting than the land back on his side, but they had found something cool. Lagan made his way to the borders of a pack, a pack that he didn't know existed. Heck, his parents might not even know about this one. He obviously had to know more, so he stood there and howled, hoping that soon he would meet with one of the mysterious hidden valley wolves.

Couldn't wait to post!

Tapat often liked to help his pack. He wasn't very good at keeping to his tasks though. His short term memory loss would distract him. So while Tapat was around the borders he might have gotten a task or he might not have gotten one. He was just tracking all the scent marks because well, those were very strong. Somehow Tapat thought there was a point to it. He knew not to cross it, he would get lost. That he did remember. It was how he got here though.

He lifted when he heard a howl. Strangers! Interesting. Tapat moved forward with his tail wagging. He saw two wolves up ahead and jumped forward. He let out a yip and his tail was heavily wagging. One was probably never greeted so enthusiastically as now. Tapat had forgotten that strangers should not be greeted in that way. There were two males, however, time stopped for Tapat when he saw the gray colored male. He was so pretty.

Tapat felt a bit flustered now, ducking his head a bit. The boy was rather submissive and should never ever be at a border, or do a border patrol. He was basically like the average golden retriever. "H-hi!!," he let out, tail still wagging a mile a minute.

we can just say that Gannet is lingering back a little, and it's just Lagan who's talking, unless of course Starr wants to pop him in here

Lagan wasn't expecting to see another youngster at the border. He assumed that he'd find some big bad patrolling guardian, who would start out with something similar to, 'state your business' or 'what do you want'. But instead he found himself looking at the most beautiful boy he'd ever seen. He had eyes the color of a summer moon, warm but cool at the same time. His fur looked soft and snowy white, and he looked happy. That was what Lagan liked the most. He looked so happy to see Lagan! He had never met someone so genuinely happy to meet him.

Lagan's tail started going as soon as the other boy's did. The other seemed very submissive, and Lagan wasn't sure why. Was he intimidating? Lagan was nearly as small and cute as the other, so there was no need to him to be submissive! Lagan tucked his tail and got down low, to show that he was at least respectful. He inched forwards, excitement in his apple green eyes and then he said, Hello! I'm Lagan! You're really cute, I mean pretty. Beautiful. Lagan said bashfully, staring into the other boy's eyes.

Gannet followed Lagan cautiously as he called out, highly aware of the scent markings and that anything could happen.  He'd run across enough territorial wolves in his travels to not take it for granted they would be met peaceably.  However, he needn't have worried.

Completely oblivious to the doe eyes going on between his cousin and the stranger, Gannet was surprised when his cousin opened with immediate flattery.  The other wolf wasn't bad, but he wasn't anything special in Gannet's view.  They didn't even know him.

"Who are you?" Gannet asked,  meaning the whole pack but likely sounding like he wanted a name from Tapat.

Catching the tail end of the conversation, “We are Teaghlaigh,” the former queen stated in a low, even timbre. Stubbornness at not wanting to reveal Tapat’s identity to the strangers had unconsciously led her to answer the question Gannet was truly asking — but she wasn’t here to entertain them. Mindful of their relative youth but suspicious all the same due to the excess amount of hormone in the air, the continued absence of her son, and the recent altercation with the trespasser, “Who are you, and why have you come?” she asked flatly. Her head was held high, but the set of her shoulders and tail were neutral. Her long, strong legs, set squarely, tensed imperceptibly as she shifted her weight in readiness should either of the two wanderers pose a threat. The wounds sustained during her recent fight still smarted, but she was confident — cocky, even — that she could beat hell into any would-be troublemakers.

Tapat was a bit surprised when the other lowered himself. Tapat hadn't really asked that of him. The teenager was too unfamiliar with border rules to know the other was giving him respect. He curiously stepped forward. Tapat flushed a bit when the other called him cute, and then pretty, followed by beautiful. Tapat never thought of himself in that way. He wanted to cover him with licks! He also noticed that the other's fur looked so soft. Was he beautiful? The pretty boy called him that so it must be true. Tapat didn't want to forget this boy, ever!

He was about to say something but then Lotte came up. He knew the alpha female by now. He was not sure if she knew about his condition, perhaps, Hemlock told her. After months he could finally remember names. He greeted her with the customary licks under her chin to show his respect. She looked so serious in her body language. Were these bad wolves? Tapat stepped closer to the female. He was so curious about the gray one though. His nose was moving to catch his scent. He wished he could snuggle against that soft fur. His tail started wagging. He was so pretty. Tapat wasn't sure what to say or do. A soft whine came from his throat. Beautiful, he remembered that. It had quite an impact on him. Especially those green eyes.

"I'm Tapat!," he voiced then at random. Would the other remember him as well? He hoped so. He couldn't contain himself and stepped forward. No fear of strangers. His tail wagging excitedly. He wanted to meet this pretty gray boy. He wanted to give him licks and show him how nice he could be. "Who are you?," he asked Lagan, though he just told him his name. He couldn't remember. By now he also forgot that these could potentially be bad wolves.

@Lotte you have my permission to PP Tapat by pulling him back by his scruff or do whatever she sees fit to 'protect' him as he is basically in reach of Lagan xD

Gannet came forward to Lagan's side, and asked who the other boy was. Lagan wanted to know the same thing, but he was mostly still just admiring his new friend. It seemed like the white furred wolf was about to say something when a female arrived. A very interesting patterned one. Maybe wolves on the other side of this mountain were all just really pretty! But none could possibly be as pretty as the small happy wolf before him. Lagan finally moved his eyes away from Tapat when the female spoke, and he was a little surprised at how flat and serious she sounded.

She said that they were Teaghlaigh, and it took Lagan a minute to process the fact that it was the pack's name and not her own. It was a weird name, and Lagan had no idea what it meant, but it was alright. The grey blue female asked who they were were and why they had come, and Lagan responded quickly. I'm Lagan and this is Gannet! We're from Redhawk Caldera we came over those ginormo mountains and saw this pack and so we thought we'd come check it out. We're scouts in training, so we just wanted to see what we could find. He explained.

Only a few seconds after he'd finished speaking, Tapat interjected his own name. Lagan turned his full attention back to him. He smiled, glad to see that his new friend was still happy. Then the small white male asked something strange. Yes, Lagan was pretty sure he'd introduced himself at least twice already. But that was ok, he forgot things sometimes too. I'm Lagan! He said again, just as enthusiastically as the first time.

The boy repeated his name, but before he did, another came who gave a much more pertinent answer.  The name was an odd collection of sounds, especially in comparison to their plain 'Redhawk', and Gannet wasn't sure what to make of it.  Especially because she spoke it so quickly and naturally.  Before he could really get it remembered, it was gone, and Tapat was speaking now.

Gannet didn't need to introduce himself, Lagan having done so, and for some reason his cousin was brimming with enthusiasm.  Not quite on the same level, and unsure if the older woman was going to send them packing with a few snaps for good measure, Gannet hung back at Lagan's shoulder, nodding but not adding anything vocally to the conversation.

Unless someone addresses him, feel free to skip!

Feel free to skip her over. ♥ Sorry for the delay.

Seeing the immediate connection that blossomed between Tapat and Lagan, Lotte warmed inwardly — but the frail blurt of joy she felt didn’t erase her wariness. “‘Scouts in training,’” she repeated a little wistfully, recalling her own endeavors in that trade. “As long as you come here in peace, you will be greeted with such,” she said, stepping out of the shadows so that her bruised and still-blood-glazed right eye could be clearly seen. “If you break that peace,” she warned, “you will be greeted accordingly.” With a thrust of her muzzle she indicated the dried blood on the ground not far from where they stood. “There are those who would harm my Family, and I will not allow that to happen,” she added. “I do not think you are the type, though. If I may impose upon you, my son is missing — and if you see a young, light-colored wolf, perhaps with smatterings of gray in his fur, on your travels…a boy named Roarke…please bear this information to me.” Her lips trembled, but she pressed them together. “I will leave you to your visit,” she said at last, and melted into the shadows a respectful distance from where they now stood.

Tapat was smitten with the pretty boy. As he wasn't warned about him Tapat placed the final step closer to have his muzzle almost touching Lagan's muzzle. The pale boy was wagging his tail excitedly. Lotte didn't seem to mind if they were friendly. And Tapat was certain that this boy was super friendly.

He sank down through his front legs, his butt wiggling as he invited the pretty gray boy to play with him. Tapat had always been playful and what better than to have a game of tag to get to know each other. At leas that was the best way in Tapat's eyes. He let out a yip, and wiggled his butt some more to enthuse the other.

Lagan's eyes were still locked on the white furred wolf as he inched closer and closer. Lagan had never met anyone so excited and happy before, and he was extremely interested. He tore his eyes away to look back at the pretty woman as she spoke, and he nodded as she did. She brought up that her son was missing, and his eyes widened. The fact that her son was missing made Lagan very worried! He wanted to go look for the missing kid right away, but also there was the milky white wolf right in front of him, which kept him from going just yet.

We will definitely watch out for your son, I'm so sorry to hear that- oh! He sort of exclaimed, surprised as something brushed near his muzzle. He turned and saw it was the happy boy! He was super close to Lagan, and Lagan just wanted to give him a billion licks on his face. The smile returned to Lagan's maw, he looked back at the woman, but she had already said her goodbye's and left. So instead he looked back to his new friend. Tapat had moved into a play bow, and Lagan grinned.

The Blackthorn yipped back, and turned to face Gannet. He batted a paw at his cousin's shoulder, trying to hype him up as well.

Gannet was still more than a little confused by Tapat and Lagan's outright friendliness... he'd met his share of strangers, and normally the meets didn't go like this right off. But Lagan was an enthusiastic sort, and it seemed Tapat had similar tendancies.  Gannet, for his own part, was affectionate moreso to those of his own pack, and a bit more withholding when it came to strangers.  He was more interested in the adult who came and then went, and her news of a missing son.  Was he stolen like Peter had been all those months ago, or like Whip was now?  If she had hope, he must have left, and therefore why was she seeking him?

Before he could ask (perhaps happily so), she was gone, and he was left with his cousin and his new friend.  Lagan tried to draw him in, and after a moment, Gannet smiled and ducked as well.  Strange as it might be to do this on another's doorstep, there were few things that would make the pale boy stop and not entertain a good game!

Tapat was so excited that the pretty boy wanted to play with him. He let out a squeak in excitement. To his joy, the other wolf also joined in their play. Tapat playfully jumped forward to Lagan, but playfully jumped away again and tried to engage with the other pale boy. It was super fun! Tapat loved it. He was quite submissive so if someone would happen to touch him he would easily roll over on his back and show his belly. For him, this type of play was not about learning how to fight or to kill. He was just happy with the social interaction.

Lagan's coaxing worked and soon Gannet joined the fray. Tapat leapt towards Lagan and then Gannet, Lagan smacked the ground with his feet, his long pink tongue falling out of his mouth. He ran towards Tapat then backed up, urging him to chase. He didn't plan on running a distance, probably just back and forth until it turned into a wrestling match.

Sorry for shortness guys!
