He did not notice the subtle dipping of her head. Instead, he was all too wrapped up in his emotions even to consider the tiniest of her movements. Instead, oblivious to anything outside of their words, as he attempted to comprehend just what she was offering in return. Trying to shoo away his innermost feelings, Rannoch broke away his gaze for a moment, as if disconnected himself. 

When he did turn back to her, it was when she started to talk about her reasons for being out. From his short break, he felt somewhat renewed and ready to take on the conversation, yet, a nagging hum still lingered in the pit of his heart, reminding him of whatever had overcome him. 

"There are shapes up there?" He asked, following her attention towards the sky, tilting his head as he focused on the blueish-black thing that created their starry canopy.
