"Yours, too," he replied automatically. Kieran and Hawthorn (he still assumed both boys belonged to Sylvas) were a solemn but well-behaved pair, and didn't fight near as much as Sunny and Dawn did. But the conversation moved on, and though Sylvas admitted he hadn't been sleeping the best, Grayday figured he would find his groove eventually. "Well, I don't plan on letting us lose this one, but I'm not sure it's the best place to stay for winter," he said to the other male, hoping that this wouldn't be too much of a let-down for him. He knew how it was to get attached to a place, but wolves weren't trees. They were given legs for a reason.

"I think we should move toward the base of the mountains for winter, and then head back over here as it's ending," he went on, glancing back toward Easthollow. There was a sizeable mountain range in that direction, and he was sure there was a sleepy hollow somewhere that could protect them from the worst of the storms.
