Wanting to elaborate on his short statement, he added quickly, "Most of our members have wandered about from young ages, and I assumed that you had as well." It was odd for Rannoch to hear of a wolf that hadn't traveled far from their lands, yet, the aquamarine-eyed wolf did not hold this against her. 

He smiled broadly at her next comment, his tail saying as she explained the reasoning for her arrival. "I see," said the leader thoughtfully, briefly pondering on her journey. He assumed it must have been quite the trek for her to travel and as such, figured that he might as well offer her something to sustain her until she returned home. "Are you hungry?" he asked offhandedly, knowing that they would have something to offer to her. "If you are, I'm more than happy to offer up something from our cache to sustain you until you get back to the woods." Even with his guard up, he figured that it was the decent thing to do.
